Variable or inconsistent lighting can lead to problems with parallax tracking the tips of probes. This problem is most noticeable on rig 5, where the screen can limit available light angles.

Sasha mentioned that recently there is no such problem and I cannot generate the issue on the rig5.
Using the good neck lighting can solve the issue if there is a screen used for stimulating visual cortex to cancel out the flickering effect from the monitor. Another approach is simply turning off the screen during the probe calibration.
