Lost all my local notes after latest upgrade

Boostnote Mac Desktop: Version 0.23.1 (0.23.1)

Today, BoostNote was updated on my Mac (Catalina 10.15.7) and now I cannot access or find ANY of the files I created using BoostNote. How can I get my files back?

Furthermore, this version of BoostNote has added a crap-ton of stuff I don't need or want and taken away what I liked most about it. Simplicity.

Can you please give more details, which version and storage type you had,
File system storage or just cloud one?

The process of getting the data back depends on it, you can also join our slack and ask there and see many similar topics where you can get Insights into what happened and how to recover.

I was using local storage, and I don't know what version it was. I don't usually pay attention to the current version of the apps I'm using. :/ Sorry.
