The bike has auto resistance through workouts on the Technogym app. I'd be keen to set it up as well. The main things I'm wanting out of the QZ app are, easier syncing with Garmin Connect (currently download workout from Strava and convert to FIT to import), potentially outputting the power and cadence to my Garmin watch (FR255) (as my skill bike doesn't seem to have ANT+) and easier workout planning as the Technogym app is a pain to use. |

In order to sync it with the garmin you need to use qz on a Mac or android. Do you have one? |

I have a Mac but don't take it to the gym with me, usually just iPhone and Garmin. I could take it with me if it would mean I can start the workout from my watch. |

Ant+ is not avaliable on iPhone and it's the only way to stream metrics to a garmin device through a mobile phone. Otherwise you need even a old android phone just to use it with qz Let me know |

Ok, aside from the Garmin, I think it would add a bit more functionality to the bike and make it easier to use, so I'm happy to give it a go. Shall I download the app? |

Yes and you can simply add the bike under the power sensor setting under
the accessories and enable the power sensor as a bike setting
For auto resistance follow this with the technogym app

I downloaded the app and just went and had a play on the bike. I cannot get the app to connect to the bike. I went through the wizard and connected it and then was sitting on the screen showing the bike would automatically connect but nothing seemed to be happening. Not sure if I'm missing something basic here. With regard to the auto resistance logging, I cannot find a cable to plug my phone into my laptop so will need to sort that out a bit later. |

I just had a bit more of a think about this, I don’t think the Technogym app workouts change the resistance from the phone Bluetooth signal during the workout. The phone just directs the console to where the workout is saved in the Technogym cloud and it loads it on the console, there’s no live adjustments you can make via the phone once the workout has started. So I’m thinking the packetreader may not have the output you’re after. The bikes are meant to work with Zwift but I haven’t tried as I don’t have a subscription, perhaps if I used Zwift with the packet reader that would give you the outputs you’re after? I should probably first test out if the bike in my gym works with Zwift. |

If it so, yes it doesn't have the Bluetooth auto resistance

Hey guys just at a resort and noticed they have Technogym bikes. Is it possible to connect without a Mac and just with the phone? Not sure I understand what these step mean…” a) Connect IOS Device (IPAD, IPHONE) to OSX (Macbook via usb cable), I assume this requires a Mac? Or is there some sort of OSX and Pocketlogger app for the iPhone? |

No if I remember correctly it doesn't have auto resistance
With nrfconnect open show me what you see as the other user did so I can

Hi,
Before jumping in and purchasing the app, I wanted to check if there is any known compatibility with the Technogym Skillbike? The bike should be compatible with Zwift and I see there is one other discussion here with mention to it but no confirmation if it works or not?
