I want to officially invite UI/UX designers and developers into this space

It bothers me that most people are directed at coding and programming when they are looking to switch into a tech career. We have a need for all types of roles when we are building products and shipping code.

PopSchools specifically needs designers who are primarily designers. I've never built a product team from scratch before. I'm figuring everything out as I go.

I want to collaborate with designers to build the popschools.org website. Something that will need to be considered is how we compensate people who are building with us. PopSchools is not a non-profit (maybe it should be?). It's important to me that I pay for the work I am soliciting.

This is a bit of a stream of consciousness. Feel free to reply with any suggestions or ideas.
