We moved from the Storage version of FinOps Hubs to the data explorer version and ran into an issue with backfilling of the data. In the Data Explorer reports we noticed missing savings on RI's. It was only shown in the current month.

We found out that the problem was that we backfilled the cost data before the pricelist data. After reexporting the cost data the data was correct for the historic data.

Previously we already tackled the issue that we couldn't export the pricelist, recommendation and reservation data. We found out that we needed to export this on the Billing Profile level and that it isn't possible on the Billing Account level (MCA contract). Not sure if this is a bug or specifically designed this way.

It would be helpful to add the backfilling order and exporting issue to documentation regarding installing FinOps Hubs for future users.
