Redo is not working anymore

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes/No

• VS Code Version: 1.99.1
• OS Version: Windows

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Undo about 10 or more changes with ctrl-z
2. Try to redo them with ctrl-y

It's 2025 and we are still getting betrayed by something so essential and commonly used as VS Code. I was undoing some changes I made in the code to show to a colleague at work to show him how I made some changes, where it started, how it's going. Imagine when over an hour or work just went down the drain when all the code just remained as it was at the startv with no option to redo it all again. I was writing in TypeScript, by the way.
Now seriously, wasn't this an issue before? Has no one fixed it?

Well, I cannot reproduce it.
Here I completed a reviewing session, and I used intensively undo/redo without any pain.

Any detailed step to reproduce it?

Interference with any extension? In this case try to start VSCode with the extension disabled or try to find the offending extension with F1 and Help: Start Bisect Extension.
