This issue is not a bug. The fade-in animation for the main window was removed starting from version 1.20. This is because it became difficult to implement along with changes to how translucent windows are handled. The animations for the clock and magnifying glass icons have been retained, and their functionality is confirmed in the screenshot you provided, so I will close this issue.
