Technology Review

An assortment of web scrapers using BeautifulSoup, regular expressions, NLTK and NLP. Created a script to search for specific tweets and return sentiment analysis. In addition, created a mad libs program based on Python's NLTK framework.

Mad Libs is a phrasal template word game, usually played at parties, where one player prompts other players for a list of words to substitute blanks in a story before reading out the completed story aloud.

This script reads a text file (story.txt) and identifies placeholders wrapped in < and >. It prompts the user to input custom words to replace these placeholders, generating a personalized story.
