[Feature request] Only show the preview panel for specific plugins.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The preview panel is nice, but only sometimes. Like when using the Movie plugin to search for stuff on IMDB, but having to press F1 just to get a preview those times when you need it feels a bit too much.

Describe the solution you'd like
Have an option to only show the preview only when using some of the plugins. So when I type "imdb" it opens up the preview panel, or when I search for images.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Pressing F1, but doing that every time feels a bit awkward.

This is a different use case to how preview is usually used. From what I understand with this request, the usage is have preview off and only show for certain plugins. This means we enable plugins the ability to request preview on which is fine, but are we also allowing plugin to request preview off as well when preview is on? What about some users wanting the override of those plugins that have requested preview on?

There is also a user base that don't really mind having preview on all times even when searching for stuff on IMDB, or another user base that when preview switched off, it means off.

I am not against the feature but, would advise to see if there is more interest.
