CodePen Examples not working

hey there. the two exaples are not working, I first tried on my machine and later the linked CodePen Examples. No drawing.
https://lazybrush.dulnan.net/ is working great! this is by far the most smooth drawing solution I found <3 thank you!! but I don´t know how to make it work. Can you help?

Oh sorry! I think I understand now: It is not supposed to draw like on https://lazybrush.dulnan.net ... But would love to see an example with this. I dont understand the example for a "pointing device" like a phone, if there is no "trace" to see.
