Description of the new feature

Contrary to #6895 I want to disable wrap and no horizontal scollbar. Now how is that?

I'm using Terminal to log one and many services. I zoom out just to see if new entries are added I zoom in if something is going on. I'm not interested in the aft part of a line only the beginning.

that does not seem to make much sense as a terminal feature, more even so if you consider that you can pipe the data to less and let less deal with the text formatting/output

Thanks for the request! I'm sorry to say that this isn't something we're likely to invest in. There are some good solutions (less, having a horizontal scrollbar which you just don't touch) that don't result in spontaneous loss of data... so I'd happily recommend one of those!

(I know we don't have a horizontal scroll bar. Yet. 😁 )
