Can we use TPDE Compiler to speed up compilation times?

After the release of https://github.com/tpde2/tpde I'm wondering if we can use it to speed up a lot the rust compilation times, especially the development ones.

This has had some discussion on Zulip#t-compiler > TPDE: A Fast Adaptable Compiler Back-End Framework @ 💬, I gave my opinions there.

We have many active projects to speed up compilation time, and are happy to review your contribution if you have a PR in mind. I also notice that one of our contributors is already looking at this more closely.

Otherwise, I think an issue tracker is a bad place to have an open-ended discussion like this, since this is not an issue that has a resolution. So I am closing it.
