there seems to be a misunderstanding on how to use profiles: https://texstudio-org.github.io/advanced.html#save-load-profile |

It looks like the list is now stored under profiles.
I frequently translate manuscripts. While at it, i work with 2 or more open files, each in their own language. Macros and dictionaries for each are different, so I have to switch between a number of profiles.
I also work with manuscripts of different nature, so I load profiles depending on what they are: prose, poetry, technical, graphical, chemical, etc.
Then I close TS, and when I open it again my recent file list does not contain the files that I had worked with. Then I have to remember what was the last profile, load it, and only then will I get the recent files on the menu.
Could you move the recent files list back under the default profile, like most of software out there does?
Many thanks
