Arabic numbers are being used in Arabic store instead of English

Summary

We have English/Arabic ecommerce website, and after updating our Magento website from 2.3.4 to 2.4.7p1,
now the numbers or the prices in the Arabic website are showing in Arabic instead of English.
Arabic numbers showing on the catalog page is due to a feature update in Magento versions 2.4.6 and above.
unable to find a solution. in Middle East, no one uses arabic numbers, even Keyboards does not have Arabic numbers so i do not know why such thing was introduced in the update and what is the solution

Magento uses PHP's NumberFormatter (via intl extension) based on the store locale thats why its showing in arabic in latest magento version.

For fixing this
Created a Plugin on Magento\Framework\Pricing\PriceCurrencyInterface::format
This is the method that formats prices globally.
