⚠️ Problem

The current (recently updated) upgrade guide lists the steps required to upgrade from one version of FTK to another.

However, for "Step 2: Update Fabric eventhouse" it states: "The Microsoft Fabric eventhouse database schema must be manually updated with each release."

However, if you read the Set up Microsoft Fabric article that this step links to, it states: "This section only applies when configuring Microsoft Fabric as a primary data store instead of Azure Data Explorer."

Therefore, this step is only required if you're using Microsoft Fabric as the primary data store. Having Step 2 stating that this "must be ... updated with each release" causes confusion.

Update the instructions listed for Step 2 to include a statement similar to:

This only applies if you are using Microsoft Fabric as a primary data store. Skip this step if any of the following apply:
- You are using Azure Storage as your data store
- You are using Azure Data Explorer as your data store
