Cannot connect to Github

For some reason hits http vs https endpoints. Saw this in developer tools.
The git remotes are configured with https for me locally. I am using origin.
When switching the plugin to ssh, still issues http.

• VSCode Version: Latest
• OS: Mac
• Repository Clone Configuration (single repository/fork of an upstream repository): single repo.
• Github Product (Github.com/Github Enterprise version x.x.x): Github.com
