The SPOTLIGHT project is a time-domain survey instrument, set up to conduct a commensal survey for fast radio bursts (FRBs), pulsars, rotational radio transients (RRATs), and other radio transients using the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT). The petaFLOPS-capable backend has been funded by the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM), and consists of 60 servers, 90 NVIDIA A100 GPUs, and a 2 petabytes storage. These enable us to carry out the intensive computations, and store the large amounts of data, required to keep the survey running. The SPOTLIGHT project is expected to lead to the discovery of $\sim$ 300 FRBs, $\sim$ pulsars, and many other interesting objects and events, over the next 3 years. For more details, see:
