My name is Patrick Szczepański, and I’ve been living in Olsztyn since the day I was born.
I graduated in Information Technology from the University of Warmia and Mazury, and I have over 6 years of professional experience working with the Django (Python-based web framework) ecosystem.
- 🌱 Currently exploring modern frontend frameworks beyond jQuery
- 💬 Happy to chat about Linux or Hackintoshes – remember the GNU/Linux pastebin or the golden Hackintosh Poland era (2015/2016)?

My engineering thesis focused on building a social media platform using Django.
The stack included:
- Django + Django-Channels
- PostgreSQL
- Django-Allauth
- REST framework
- jQuery
The project was optimized at the Python/query level for performance and scalability.
A personal "OS project turned meme" I worked on during insomnia-fueled nights in 2017–2018. Don’t take it too seriously 😄
Unofficial integration of the TPay API with Django. Initially meant to stay private, but now open-source. PRs welcome!
A quirky little tool that stores every form input using just cookies.
Yes — only cookies. Believe it or not.
My first team project in college. A browser game built with JavaScript, jQuery, and Django.
A large-scale app for managing student internships.
Although unfinished (time constraints!), it features:
- WebSocket-based chat (Django-Channels)
- REST API views
- Vue.js frontend demo
Special thanks to my friend Grzesiek for frontend support and debugging.
Dispatcher and taxi driver management system – built entirely with Django and jQuery.
Port of Xapian-Haystack to newer Django versions.
(Obsolete now – the project has an active maintainer again.)
A Discord bot inspired by “AnonimoweMirkoWyznania” from Wykop.
Built at a friend's request, it runs with minimal memory (100–150 MB) despite using Django, Discord.py, aiohttp, Gunicorn, and Nginx.
