Affected HW/FW Revision: 1.0.0 - 1.2.1 (Acquisition PCB)

Description: The MSP430 microcontroller stops booting firmware after an unpredictable event, possibly due to an ESD shock.

Symptoms:

  • The probe successfully establishes communication with the dongle.
  • However, when starting the acquisition, the process hangs.

Recovery Steps:

  • After connecting the probe to the debugger, flashing is initially not possible (memory erase fails).
  • However, after entering Debug mode, flashing becomes possible again.
