Hello Beta Testers!

This update is the larger second half of 0.7.5, reworking almost all enemies in the caves and later, as well as tweaking various aspects of lategame balance.

As of beta-2.0 the beta is now content-complete in terms of regular enemies! I'm now moving my focus toward bosses and enemy polishing.

This is a pre-release beta build of the next update. It may be missing planned features, be buggy, or have balance issues. Source code is not available for betas, but will be released along with the full non-beta version of the update. If you encounter any issues, please email me to report them: Evan@Shatteredpixel.com. This is the first release where the desktop version is running from the same codebase as the Android one! Because it's a very big change, the desktop beta is likely to be more unstable than usual, please let me know if you encounter any issues!

This update significantly improves and expands on enemies in the first two regions of the game!

There are three new enemies, and the first two bosses have both received major improvements.

The game is also available from a number of distribution platforms (e.g. Google Play). If you have installed the game through one of those, you should try to update from there first. It may take a day or two before a new update becomes available.


This is the last version of the game which has desktop builds from the old desktop repository. All desktop builds from this release and older are built from a separate codebase and have mild feature divergence from the android code. All future desktop versions are built from this codebase.

The desktop version of 0.7.5 has an extra patch to fix a desktop-specific error, and so is named 0.7.5f.

This is the first release where the Android version is fully running through the LibGDX library. Because of this there is a notably increase in download size.

This update adds two new wands which can summon allies, and also improves existing ally characters.

There are also several balance improvements and smaller tweaks.

This update makes additions and improvements that are mostly based on addressing feedback.

Enchantments have received further adjustments, boss-based alchemy recipes have been overhauled, 4 new thrown weapons have been added, and the warrior's subclasses have been buffed.

This update adjusts the balance of various aspects of the game.

Enchantments have been significantly adjusted, high-tier alchemy recipes now use flexible 'catalysts', and many items or mechanics have been adjusted or rebalanced.

This update overhauls the huntress! She has a new signature item (a bow!), as well as significantly reworked subclass abilities.

Thrown weapons can now be upgraded, and there are a variety of other smaller tweaks and improvements as well.

This update is an entire overhaul to the game's alchemy system! Alchemy has been expanded massively to give consumable items some of the variety and customizability that equipment already has.

There are roughly 100 recipes total, with over 60 new items! Most of these new items can only be obtained through alchemy.

This update is focused on armor and the berserker! Armor now has more customization options, and several glyphs have been improved. The berserker has received a mini-rework.
