Acknowledgement

The gateway is sending an acknowledgement by mqtt after a value has been sent to RF or IR. To RF the gateway return the value sent to the subject defined in user_config.h

#define subjectGTWRFtoMQTT "home/433toMQTT"

To IR the gateway return the value sent to the subject defined in user_config.h

#define subjectGTWIRtoMQTT "home/sensors/ir"

Note that on the default settings the subjects are the same if the gateway receive a signal or if the gateway send an acknowledgement after receiving a valid MQTT command.

This enable in Home assistant to set your switch with optimistic mode as false. By this way the switch state will be updated when the gateway has sent the signal. This doesn't assure you that your sensor received the signal but only that the gateway received your command and considered it as a valid command to send RF or IR.
