The bug (or at least its presumably unintended) occurred under these circumstances.
-I had warped to the eye, and then down to its surface, I was on/near the equator, watching the sun go supernova.
-My clone had been set up ~5 loops prior, not sure if this is important, but I had gone through several deaths without spacetime breaking.
-I had already completed all 3 safeguards immediately to warping to the eye, and had inserted my Scout into the Astral Codec's core.
