Run `make install`.
MAKEFILE OPTIONS
The following Makefile variables can be passed on the command line to
'make' and 'make install':
PREFIX=/path Install to given path (default: /usr/local)
BINDIR=/path Install binaries to given path
(default: $(PREFIX)/bin)
MANDIR=/path Install man pages to given path
(default: $(PREFIX)/share/man)
(man pages are installed in sectional sub-directories;
e.g. $(MANDIR)/man8)
DESTDIR=/path Stage installed files under the given path
instead of installing directly to the filesystem
(intended for package building)
Example:
make PREFIX=/usr
make install PREFIX=/usr DESTDIR=/tmp/pkgroot
DEBIAN PACKAGING
Debian packaging, complete with an init script, can be found in the
'debian' branch of the project Git repository. The package is built
using git-buildpackage as follows:
1. Check out the debian branch: `git checkout debian`
2. Build the package: `git-buildpackage -uc -us`
This creates .deb files in the parent directory (..) which can be
installed with `dpkg -i`.
You can’t perform that action at this time.
