Notes

Issues with the GotoMeeting link

There were issues with the GotoMeeting link for today’s meeting and a temporary registration link had to be created. Do NOT use the invitation for this (temporary) link ending in “1778”. The normal registration link (below) has been fixed and will be continue to be used for all subsequent meetings.

One document for cmi5

Per the last meeting, the group agreed to combine cmi5 runtime and cmi5 course structure into one specification document. A pull request was created prior to this meeting and was reviewed and approved. The new combined spec document is “cmi5_spec.md”. The cmi5 runtime and course structure documents (cmi5_coursestructure.md and cmi5_runtime.md where modified to link to cmi5_spec.md in the cmi5 GitHub Repo)

Multiple Passed and Failed Statements (and multiple scores)

The discussion continued from last week on the following issues: • Multiple Statements with Results (Score) #263 • Multiple Passed and Failed Statements in a AU Session #262

This issue continues to be rather complex and rather “thorny”! The group could not come to a consensus on either issue so it will be continued to be discussed.

LMS Voiding and Rejecting Statements

As part of the discussion on issues 262/263, the issue of how the LMS should deal with statements that conflict with cmi5 spec rules came up.

The group agreed that the following rules should be added to cmi5 spec to clarify what the LMS should/must do:

  1. LMS SHOULD reject statements that conflict with the spec.
  2. Any statement that conflicts with the cmi5 specification rules that is NOT rejected MUST be voided by the LMS.
