SHOW A GOOGLE MAP IN A MODAL CREATED WITH TWITTER BOOTSTRAP IN A RAILS APPLICATION

Step 1 - Create a rails application

rails new google_maps --no-test-framework --skip-assets

Step 2 - Add twitter bootstrap at the application

Open the file Gemfile

...
...
gem 'bootstrap-sass','~> 3.1.1'
...
...
...

Create a file custom.css.scss in app/assets/stylesheets and add the following code:

@import "bootstrap";

Open the file app/assets/javascripts/application.js and add bootstap:

//= require jquery
//= require jquery_ujs
//= require turbolinks
//= require_tree .
//= require bootstrap

Now run in the terminal:

bundle install
```
to install the gem. Also remember to restart thw Rails server
