Please add a verification system to the voting system. People can spam votes with false names like "IAmTheBestNegro" or "IHaveABigPenis". I know some server lists have a verification system setup so if the user is a real minecraft account the vote will go through.

If you're displaying this publically on your server/site then you really should be doing your own checking.

But for us to check every single vote to see if it's genuine or not is an expensive process to do.

We have our own database of Minecraft users we know are good, so we can gladly setup a system to check for legitimacy before submitting the vote to the server, but you'll need to be aware that by opting into this (there will be checkbox to verify votes when creating/editing a server which defaults to off) there will be cases where legitimate users votes won't go through to your server as they've never interacted with the launcher in a way we are allowed to log it.

So that will be the trade off.

I'll close this issue once it's been implemented, but I don't see that being done until after new years most likely, but either way I'll close this once done.
