I'm working on a forum post announcing grants for contributors (similar to what @xylix has). I just want to announce the plan here to gather feedback.
People who might be interested: @nicolae-stroncea @nikanar @billangli @ActivityWatch/contributors
There'll be a forum post when the details are in place, but those interested can reach out to me now.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
I wrote this post on the forum today, on using ActivityWatch data to pay contributors (not specific to work on ActivityWatch): https://forum.activitywatch.net/t/getting-paid-with-activitywatch/986
We now also have quite a lot of funds in the OpenCollective ($2,897 at the time of writing), which we should aim to spend sooner rather than later.
Sorry, something went wrong.
Wanted to add that there's now a basic section in the CONTRIBUTING.md about this: https://github.com/ActivityWatch/activitywatch/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md#getting-paid
If you've worked >10h on ActivityWatch, send us the matching events and we'll get you paid!
@ErikBjare would you prefer I shift my contribution from Patreon ($4B upcoming IPO) to Open Collective (market cap?)?
I suppose I'll find all that I need here: https://opencollective.com/activitywatch (?)
@pcuci Open Collective is probably preferred yeah. A full list of options is here: https://activitywatch.net/donate/
