Is there any chance of somehow wildcarding blacklisted hosts? I'd like to be able to block safemovedm.com (see: http://arstechnica.com/security/2015/11/user-data-plundering-by-android-and-ios-apps-is-as-rampant-as-you-suspected/ ), but it's not actually possible with AdAway. The level of detail in the report at http://techscience.org/a/2015103001/ isn't high enough to determine which FQDNs (if any) under that domain were observed in use.
I'm able to blacklist the entire domain on my own networks, using BIND, but I'd like AdAway protection on other networks.
Either adding DNS proxying support, adding a DNS proxying / ad-blocking app to use in conjunction with AdAway, or just reworking AdAway as a DNS-level blocker would make a lot of sense. There's a fair number of DNS blackholing for ads, tracking, malware, etc. to use as sources - I do.
Or, if anyone's aware of a DNS-level filtering app for Android, pointers would be appreciated.
