me

hey, I'm Adam!

i'm a software engineer & educator based in Amsterdam.

my projects

๐Ÿฟ squirrel โ€” the best context manager for running AI coding agents in parallel;
๐Ÿš€ launch โ€” a terminal process manager for local development.
โœ๏ธ usp โ€” Ultimate Social Poster, a terminal tool + CLI + Action for adapting social media posts for different platforms and uploading them via APIs and browser automations.

my lore

i was born in 2003 in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.

i started programming at the age of 6 with ActionScript 2.0, in the era of Flash games and animations. during school, I learned Pascal, web basics (HTML & CSS), and then basics of backend development with Python.

in high school, I participated in a couple of commercial projects. fun-fact: I've worked on an automation system for a large harvesting machine factory in Rostov (link, in Russian).

for another project โ€” Pycon, a platform for checking programming homework โ€” I was invited to test it on a real couple of hundred students of a local university.

some of my school projects are listed on my old website and on my new website too.

i never went to university. after high school, I joined Art.Lebedev design studio, the largest in Russia, as a backend intern.

during 2.5 years in the studio, I was a developer of Nikolay Ironov, an AI-designer (back then AI wasn't mainstream)

then I was a lead developer of Potokus, a technology that turns static media into an endless interactive stream, and Fokus, a next-gen slides maker. these two are now flagship products of the studio.

i also gave lectures on caveats and pitfalls of technical design and implementation of those products. a recording from HolyJS conference in Saint-Petersburg (in Russian).

after the studio, I worked on design automation projects with Dodo Pizza (a large IT company and also a pizza delivery chain operating in a dozen countries), and participated in a bunch of smaller projects

in 2025, i moved to Amsterdam and currently work as a software engineer at Teero, moving US dental industry forward with AI-native solutions.

i travel a lot (especially after moving to Europe, after being rejected for a Schengen visa three times). have currently visited 40+ countries.
