Ad guard splash screen still a problem. After 3 years bitching about this issue, could you please provide option to disable. Additionally I am still somewhat confused that the member Revertron has closed the issue without reason code other than just "an enhancement". Actually I would consider this a quality control issue than an "enhancement". The user (that is myself) does not perceive it as an "enhancement" as fixing this problem provides no real value but rather corrects a design flaw from the beginning.
To remove the splash screen would require about 10 lines of code. What's the holdup??

Reopening this one.

@jccube we actually have an option to disable splash screen on Windows. It can be done via the command line argument.

If you run it with /nosplash, it will silently start in background.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adguard\Adguard.exe /nosplash

That's how we start it on the system startup.

Yet the flag does not seem to affect its UI behavior. The splash screen still appears.

Hm, so do you see the splash screen when the app runs on system startup or do you see it when you run it manually?

The former would be a bug (and I cannot reproduce it..) while the latter is expected, you need to change the shortcut properties and include /nosplash there.

I can confirm that the splash screen appears when the app runs on system startup. Yes

@jccube
Checked on the 6.4.1814 - you can see the splash screen after reboot only if you just installed AdGuard. The next times AdGuard won't show the splash screen on system starts.
Meanwhile, in 7.0 nightly builds (7.0.2286 at this moment) we added Open main window at system start-up option. You can find it in Advanced settings. If it is unchecked, AdGuard will start without the splash screen.
