Nice work. This is closer to what I was looking for as most of the YTDL under Docker were invoked from console i.e. typing in "docker run blah blah blah blah blah blah http://your-video-file."
With each and every one of those I wondered what the benefit of having it installed in Docker instead of just on the host OS so then you could type "youtube-dl http://your-video-file" This is pretty slick. Does it support playlists though?
It would also be really cool to add controls for desired video quality or audio only, etc, just like the CLI for ytdl can do. :)…
