You may use to render porous materials or other voxel files

You may use the python converter to make a bin from .dat or .raw file, and read it with the Unity renderer project.
you may also opt-out chunk system and render as cubes although it's not recommended
Or create a .vox file from .dat or .raw 3D image.
The output .vox file must be used in MagicaVoxel
