As of November 2025, Anava ACAP development has been split into two tracks:
🟢 This Track (v7.6.x - STABLE)
- Repository: AnavaAcap/batonDescribe
- Public Releases: This repo (acap-releases)
- Purpose: Customer-installable ACAP applications
- Updates: Bug fixes only (v7.6.1, v7.6.2, etc.)
- Deployment: Download .eap file and install via camera web interface
🔵 Hosted Config Track (v8.x.x - NEXT-GEN)
- Repository: AnavaAcap/acap-hosted (private)
- Public Releases: None (internal deployments only)
- Purpose: Centralized tenant configuration and managed deployments
- Features: Device provisioning, mTLS MQTT, cloud-coordinated management
