Here is a response I got back:
"It’s not a bug but a temporary removal, because we wanted to fix zfs installation." ....so please ignore this is not a bug.

Problem:
When installing the option of zfs is greyed out
Steps To Reproduce:
start live cd
run installer
at disk partitioning screen zfs is greyed out as an option.
Log Files
Additional Notes:
I noticed that zfs option is available until cnchi is updated automatically.
