<p>Today i will show you why&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esports" target="_blank">eSports</a>&nbsp;is the next big thing.</p>
<p>As people say &#39;It&#39;s Difficult to Make Predictions, Especially About the Future&#39; but it looks like that <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esports" target="_blank">eSports</a>&nbsp;is making a run.</p>
<p>To observe the momentum we will use&nbsp;<a href="https://trends.google.com/trends/" target="_blank">Google Trends</a> (Worldwide)</p>

<p>We can see that people are interested in eSports and from year to year their interest rises.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>If we take&nbsp;Twitch as a proxy&nbsp;to measure the popularity of eSports and check it in Alexa, we can see that a large part of the audience is viewing it from School.<br />
So we can assume that those kids&nbsp;will grow up sometime and will spend money on eSports.</p>

<p>As I see one of the problems now is that we need some unified platform that will allow competing with each other without cheaters.<br />
There are a lot of solutions&nbsp;on the market, but none of them is completely bulletproof.<br />
When such&nbsp;&#39;cheater free&#39; solution will be available, it will allow players to compete between themselves and will boost popularity.<br />
<br />
Also, we can see that not all games can be used&nbsp;in eSports.</p>
<p>Because, the majority of esports titles are fighting games, first-person shooters (FPS), real-time strategy (RTS), or multiplayer online battle arena games (MOBA),</p>
<p>with the MOBA genre being the most popular in terms of participation and viewership.</p>
<p>From thousands of games, only 50 can be&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_esports_games" target="_blank">viewed&nbsp;as &#39;eSports compatible&#39;</a>.</p>
