Hello :)

This must be a misunderstanding. You asked me earlier today to make some changes, which I immediately did and a few minutes later my extension got taken down. Our whole interaction happened within a couple of hours. This is sad because I had 2k users and 4.5 stars, so my extension was quite useful.

I'm very keen on making my extension compliant and the least I want is to mislead anyone :) What can/should I do to make everyone happy?

Thanks a lot for your help!
Cheers,
Aurelien

Hello :)

thanks for repeating your first e-mail, after which I changed my description and added a screenshot showing the extension in action. The description also exactly states what the extension does.

Can you please be more specific? I genuinely don't see what's wrong.

Thank you!

OK I just realized that you might have been focusing on the "description" field (Large font size for Google Input Tools' keyboard.) while I was focusing on the "detailed description" field (This extension makes "Google Input Tools"'s keyboard larger. Nothing more, nothing less.) Could you please give me another chance at updating this "description" without losing my user base? That would be really nice :)

Thanks!

Improved descriptions and re-submitted https://github.com/AurelienLourot/google-input-tools-large-keyboard/releases/tag/0.0.7 to the dashboard.

I have filled up the survey with

I don't understand with what precisely my extension gjhnbhjegnfhehpjhkajgfbkcbpmomoh doesn't comply. I keep asking nicely, making changes, and it keeps being refused although I had many users and good reviews. No one is answering apart from a bot which keeps writing the general statement that my extension doesn't comply. It would be so helpful if a human being could jump in.

Human opinion on extension gjhnbhjegnfhehpjhkajgfbkcbpmomoh

Hello :)

My extension gjhnbhjegnfhehpjhkajgfbkcbpmomoh got taken down recently and I couldn't get in touch with anyone from Google. It had 2k users and good reviews.

You can see here all the e-mails exchanged with chromewebstore-dev-support@google.com and the actions taken:
#1

I suspect all these messages are sent by a bot and not by an actual human being working at Google. Because it keeps pointing me to the guidelines, which I read several times, but it fails at telling me precisely how my extension violates them.

I'm very keen on making my extension compliant and the least I want is to mislead anyone :) What can/should I do to make everyone happy?

I really really hope to get a tailored answer from a human being this time, thanks :)
Cheers,
Aurelien

Accepted 🎉 I suspect my screenshots and descriptions were mentioning Google too much.
