Hi,

Just installed siren of shame for our builds but somehow its not displaying leader board.

Do I need to connect to my CI for leader boards to work?

Also the settings got lost when I closed SoS. Not sure if that was my error.

Appreciate your help

Regards,
Gaurav

Hi. Just a couple of hopefully really simple questions:

  • Have you connected it to any CI server yet?
  • When you say its not displaying the leader board, I presume this is after clicking the full screen button? If so, can you please describe what you're seeing?
  • Finally, can you please clarify what settings aren't being saved?

Thanks.

  1. Yes I have connected to Jenkins and have selected the builds I want to see.
  2. No its not after clicking full screen. It was just after configuring the Jenkins server.
  3. Initially I configured the URL and login details to the Jenkins server which was lost when I closed the application.

Thanks for your help.

I wonder if there's an error occurring when you click the update button to save the settings. Do you mind taking a quick look at the log to see if are any exceptions? There's an older screenshot on the blog that shows how to get to it: http://sirenofshame.blogspot.com/2012/01/how-to-report-errors.html.

@gauravve: Do the leaderboards show up correctly after a build is triggered? What if you close and open the app?

The old "Have you turned it off and on again", huh? :)

Yea and if that doesn't work a reboot is in order. And when that fails I'm afraid you'll need to straight up reinstall Windows. Thank you for using Siren of Shame have a nice day ;) ... jk
