I have run into a problem, when having 50+ jobs, every job opens 4,5 new redis connections.
I also scaled my workers on 2 servers so they open 2 * same number of connections.
Is there anything i could do to prevent this, and make use of kue for this many jobs?
I ran into the same problem. I fixed it this way:
Don't run kue.createQueue() every time you want to insert a job.
You should run it once, then store it in some kind of registry object. This creates a LOT less connections.
This should probably also be mentioned somewhere. Or kue should reuse its connections…
