ShadPs4Plus PKG Extractor 1.1

ShadPs4Plus PKG Extractor is a standalone tool based on code that used to be in ShadPS4.

Version 1.1 fixes an issue of 1.0 that caused some files to be corrupted when a pkg file bigger than 2GB is extracted.

It has two main parts:

• pkg_extractor exe / AppImage

This is the extractor proper, it is a command line tool. The first argument is the path to the pkg file to extract. The second argument is where to extract it. If no second argument is provided, it will be extracted next to the pkg file.

On Windows, you can drag and drop the pkg file onto the exe and it will extract it at the same location.

• install_pkg sh / bat

This script has to be edited before use. Set the values for gamesDir and addonsDir to the ones used in ShadPS4 (you can check in settings > paths).

The first argument is the path to the pkg file to extract.

On Windows, you can drag and drop the pkg file onto the bat and it will extract it where it needs to be.

ShadPs4Plus 0.12.0 A is the same as ShadPS4 0.12.0 (with a few bug fixes from 0.12.5) except it retains PKG support.

The windows build only contains the exe, you need to put it in an existing ShadPs4 0.12.0 folder.

ShadPs4Plus 0.11.0 A is the same as ShadPS4 0.11.0 except it retains PKG support.

Pre-release ShadPs4Plus 2025-04-22 A

First pre-release of ShadPs4Plus, a fork of the ShadPs4 emulator that restores PKG support.

For now it only has the windows bin but I plan on supporting linux in the future.
The release only contains the exe file, you need to put it in an existing ShadPs4 folder.

I have done some testing but feedback is very welcome.
