I've also posted this as a Stack Overflow question here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/41323818/how-do-i-publish-a-net-core-app-to-azure-app-service-for-use-in-a-function

The basic gist of things is that I'm not 100% clear on how I might deploy my built executables and functions from anywhere they're being built.

I only use git for source control, not for deployment. So some pointers on all of this would really go a long way.

.NET Framework v4.6 (full desktop) and .NET Standard Library 1.3 are supported at this time. Reference the [https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-functions/functions-reference#a-idfileupdatea-how-to-update-function-app-files](guide on how to update function app files). It will also show you how to upload your files via FTP or thru Kudu.

@TPoise This isn't totally correct--Azure Functions runs on the .NET full framework, but will run any netstandard 1.3 assembly.

@lindydonna Thanks, I've edited my response. Any plans on going to .NET Standard 1.6 or 2.0 when it comes out?
