Issues with Private Bytes performance counter in consumption plan #762

There have been cases where the Private Bytes performance counter is reporting incorrect information when using the App Insights integration in Azure Functions and running on the consumption plan.

Application Insights just uses what Azure Web Apps infrastructure provides. Unfortunately Azure Web Apps does not give access to a single process counters. Here is how it gets value:

Some investigation indicates this is an App Service bug. This performance counter is being populated with Private Working Set, not Private Bytes (including paged). A fix is in progress.

At attempted fix was made but I don't think it was successful and I'm not sure why. Thank you for the reminder ping, I'll investigate.
