@vladbarosan - Is work still in progress for this functionality? Just wondering if it had been rescheduled given the removal of the "in progress" label.

Do we know if there is any work on this front? Any idea when the go functions might be available on Azure?

I've tried to sign up a few times (but never got anywhere). Guessing there is some criteria that I'm not meeting (will try and not take that personally ;) ). Just wondering if it's possible to confirm that my application was submitted (but rejected)... or if there is no trace of my applications.

It seems like they only accept Microsoft employees in the beta and it seems like the person leading the project left.

I'm no longer at Microsoft so unfortunately can't tell you the current state of this anymore. We'll have to wait for the current team to reply.

Thank you for the comments on this github issue. We evaluated this and decided on exploring alternative ways of bringing your own language workload to Azure Functions which Go developers can benefit from. This will be different from the go-language-worker that we had previewed earlier. I will update this when we have more to share. Thanks again for your patience and involvement.
