Please support CLI feature to associate a Reserved IP with new VMs as they are launched from the CLI.

Background:

We are a Linux shop. Thus, we cannot use PowerShell.

We want to be able to launch Azure VM's quickly and easily (i.e. via automation). We do that today with the CLI.

Issue:

We often require the use of Reserved IPs so our clients can whitelist the traffic we send their way using your systems. The CLI doesn't yet support associating Reserved IPs with VMs.

Impact of current situation:

Until we have automated way of launching VMs with associated Reserved IPs, we have to send that business to your competitors. We would rather send it to you.

@dtk-DaveKarow, thanks for bringing this to our notice. This feature request is part of our dev branch and would be a part of next cli release lined up in couple of weeks from now. Hope this would help solve your issue here!!

I don't understand how this works.VM creation complains that it needs an endpoint setup. However the create command doesn't have a switch for setting up an endpoint!

what am I missing?

e.g.,
azure vm create -l "North Europe" --vm-size "Medium" --vm-name "test" -w "live1" -b "Subnet-1" -S 10.32.0.4 -R "test-ip" thetest1.cloudapp.net b39f27a8b8c64d52b05eac6a62ebad85__Ubuntu-14_04_1-LTS-amd64-server-20140927-en-us-30GB user user pass

fails with

error: Deployment test uses ReservedIP test-ip but does not contain any endpoints. Deployment must contain at least one endpoint in order to use a ReservedIP.

How may I create endpoints in the create command?
