    New preview API version broke template
  3. New preview API version broke template

    There is a new preview API version for Event Hub that is not available for all resource types that is breaking this ARM template.
    Azure PowerShell
    ((Get-AzureRmResourceProvider -ProviderNamespace Microsoft.eventhub).ResourceTypes | Where-Object ResourceTypeName -eq namespaces).ApiVersions
    2018-01-01-preview
    2017-04-01
    2015-08-01
    2014-09-01
    ((Get-AzureRmResourceProvider -ProviderNamespace Microsoft.eventhub).ResourceTypes | Where-Object Re
    sourceTypeName -eq namespaces/authorizationrules).ApiVersions
    2017-04-01
    2015-08-01
    2014-09-01

    You can also hardcode the "2017-04-01" if you prefer, so if there is a new API available it won't break you template again.

    I am also noticing the same behavior described by @vntampasi in #257
    when deploying from the ARM template:

    ![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/2018336/27145683-457bcd04-50fc-11e7-918f-ded05167ecd3.png)

    Able to workaround by adding try / catch around:
    ` IoTHubHelper.SendMessage(messagePayload["guid"].ToString(),
    alertMessage);`
    in WebSocketEventProcessor.cs

    Attempting to message a device has not implemented a mechanism for
    message receipt from the IoT Hub appears to be the reason for failure.

  1. Allow parsing of values sent through Webhooks

    toolboc committed Jun 13, 2017
    Webhook support will allow for usage of Particle devices with
    ConnectTheDots through Particle's Iot-Hub integration:
    https://docs.particle.io/tutorials/integrations/azure-iot-hub/

    One current limitation of the Webhook format is that variables can only
    be interpolated as strings. In particular this is not a valid template:
    "json": { "value": {{PARTICLE_EVENT_VALUE}} }
