It's a creative coding session where people assembly teams and develop a prototype. A panel of judges picks the best one to win awards.
It will cover the entire first day of the event. Initially 7 hours, possibly more.
Everybody registered to the SAP SMB Innovation Summit can be a part of the hackathon.

From 1 to 5 people
A prototype or proof of concept that helps small and medium business to become Intelligent Enterprises. You can create it from scratch or base it on a current solution as long as you make use of our Building Blocks
The 1st place team will come up on stage in the main keynote. It will also receive a trophy and a kit with several gadgets:
- 1 x Bluetooth Waterproof Soundspeaker
- 1 x Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones
- 1 x 4K Drone
- 2 x SmartWatch & Fitness Tracker
- 1 x Raspberry Pi Kit
- 1 x Inkless Bluetooth Portable Printer
Also, the winner receives a free SAP Solution Certification. The other 2 finalists get 30% discount.

- Technical achievement: What technological problems had to be overcome to create this product?
- Application: What kind of business impact will the solution make?
Absolutely! This is THE activity for developers attending to this year's summits.
Yes, and we highly encourage you to. Even without coding skills, you can contribute with ideas and foment the creativity of your team from a non technical perspective. You can also make the final presentation of the prototype your team developed. A good pitch is a very good skill for wining the hackathon.
