At the moment we support the tracked-pointer target mode (devices with motion controllers for example).
We should support touch-screens ("screen") and head-tracking ("gaze") as well.

The features should be united under one abstract implementation so that they work the same, and should be initialized based on the target ray mode so that the selection is transparent to the developer and the user.
