A reusable target should have a dedicated directory for scripts which implement API methods useful for other people using the target. We should standardize on the directory name and file name which contains API methods. I'd also like to see an examples script using the APIs so it's obvious how to use the target.

If we keep everything in the lib folder perhaps something like this:
/lib/target_api.rb
/lib/target_example.rb

The api should go into lib. Any procedure examples should probably go into a new procedures folder though.
