I think it would be useful to have a widget for Boolean telemetry, similar to LEDs in LASP OASIS. This would be some kind of *VALUE widget that presents a circle that is green when the telemetry point is 1, and red when 0 (or green/transparent, or white/black... possibly user-configurable). While displaying TRUE/FALSE text strings is viable for small numbers of telemetry points, an array of graphical indicators would be easier to read "at a glance" for things like the states of a large bank of power switches.
