busAlert.me was started in December 2010, as a service that would alert you when your bus is approaching your stops. You text in your request and alerts are sent either by phone or text. This service is available to all King County Metro stops. The service itself is written in PHP/MySQL and uses Twilio for handling phone intergration and makes use of the OneBusAway API for real time tracking infomation.
The service is no longer functioinal, however I may pick it up in the future.
