A vulnerability has been discovered that allows keyboard HID packets to be
injected into an HP Wireless Elite v2 keyboard.
This vulnerability allows an attacker to inject keystrokes into a computer equipped
with an HP Wireless Elite v2 keyboard.
Affected Platforms
The following products have been tested and shown to be affected:
- HP Wireless Elite v2 keyboard
- HP Wireless Elite USB dongle (USB ID 03f0:d407)
Exploiting this vulnerability involves transmitting RF packets to an HP USB
dongle, which requires physical proximity to the target computer.
